The simple gift of a blanket from a pastor has led to an entire family placing their faith in Jesus many years later.
The story has been told by missionary group, Gospel For Asia, which supports many pastors and workers serving in the region.
One of those is Pastor Ansh who reached out to a woman living in his community in India after the death of her husband.
Dayita also had four children but she’d fallen into despair as the family struggled without the presence and provision of their husband and father.
Pastor Ansh and his wife shared the comfort of God’s word but also gave Dayita a blanket, a valuable gift for a struggling family.
Dayita was deeply moved by this act or compassion and generosity, and after many years decided to visit Pastor Ansh’s church to learn more about his God.
Now she and her family enjoy a personal relationship with Jesus.
