In a video featured in MissionsBox.org, K.P. Yohannan, founder and director of Gospel for Asia in Wills Point, TX asked donors and supporters of the nonprofit to pray and do all they could for those in the path of Hurricane Harvey.
Yohannan, pleaded with many to take time to pray. Now is the time to minister to the needs of the suffering and to unite with nonprofits to meet those needs. Interestingly, although he founded Gospel for Asia (GFA), KP urged many to get involved with other ministries who are serving in Texas. GFA’s home office is located in Texas more than four hours from Houston.
Here are a few of the ways for us to pray for Hurricane Harvey victims:
- Pray that God will intervene
Pray the various disaster relief organizations like Samaritan’s Purse, World Vision USA and Texas Baptist Men would be able to minister to the needs they see
Pray for protection and grace for those still in the path of the storm
Pray people would know that Jesus really does care
