WILLS POINT, TX – Discover how life-saving water filters provided by national missionaries are bringing clean water and better health to families in need.
In celebration of World Water Day, GFA Pastor Sachen and other GFA workers identified families in their area in need of clean water and provided them with BioSand water filters.
“It is impossible to serve God with all our hearts unless we care for people who are in need,” Pastor Sachen shared. “The church will provide water filters to the needy people who do not have access to clean water.”
In total, 23 different families in the surrounding area received a filter, including Pala’s.
“We as a family were drinking water from the hand pump and often suffered from diarrhea and stomach pain,” Pala said. “We thank God for this water filter.”
Sallee, another recipient, was also grateful for the filter.
“The water supply we [have] is dirty and yellow in color,” she said. “I am truly happy that we can now protect ourselves from different kinds of sicknesses.”
