Faith-based humanitarian group Gospel for Asia (GFA) is helping to sustain desperate families as South Asia battles the deadly coronavirus.
Gospel for Asia (GFA) founder K.P. Yohannan says many people have been pushed to the brink of starvation because of the pandemic.
There are fears COVID-19 could spread significantly in South Asia, because of limited health services and overcrowding in urban centers.
Gospel for Asia (GFA) is helping to provide freshwater wells, install toilets, run medical clinics, and teach about personal hygiene.
Dr Yohannan told Assist News; churches are also joining with them in the practical demonstration of God’s love for the needy.
He says when we look after “the least” by feeding the hungry and caring for the needy, we are feeding and caring for the Lord Jesus Himself.
