Supported by a small band of local volunteers and ministry partners, Gospel for Asia (GFA World) is once again gearing up to give away hundreds of free food packages Dec. 19 to help local families impacted by COVID-19 as they head into the Christmas holiday.
To help the local community during the pandemic, Gospel for Asia (GFA World) is partnering with Chick-fil-A, Brookshire’s, Texas nonprofit Body of Life (www.bodyoflife.org) and the USDA “Farmers to Families” program, Gospel for Asia (GFA World) and community volunteers will hand out hundreds of boxes of groceries at the organization’s campus at 1116 St. Thomas Way, Wills Point, on Sat. Dec. 19 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. or until supplies run out.
Over the past months, regular grocery giveaways hosted by Gospel for Asia (GFA World) and Body of Life have fed thousands of families from Van Zandt and neighboring counties in Texas.
