Yohannan – Discussing Kia, a widow, her poverty, struggle to provide for her children, and God’s love and care, through Gospel for Asia supplied piglets, supplying an education.

As Kia watched her children head off to school, she knew it was only the Lord’s faithful provision that enabled them to receive the gift of an education—something she always struggled to give them on her own.

Just a few months prior, Kia, a widow, was wondering how she was going to meet her children’s basic needs. It seemed like she was always late in paying her children’s schooling fees. She worked weaving traditional dresses, but whenever she got sick, she was unable to work at all.

As Kia watched the prices of everyday living increase, especially as her children got older, providing became a heavy load for her to bear. How would she continue to provide for her family?
